There is an existing old wire factory building preserved on the location and added to the new residential-commercial composition to testify about the industrial history of this part of the city. The newly designed building is a corner one, built-in on two sides with access to three streets of different character. For this reason, the building has not been designed as a uniform whole, but as the collection of different volumes. Brick volumes follow the cornices of the adjacent buildings, glass cube opens up to the interior of the plot, while the set-back volume of the last two floors has been formed by torsion of the original cube in order to meet the requirements of the distances from the neighbouring buildings and not to compromise the lines of sights and street sections of this spatial unit. Such arrangement of the building forms the inner yard, which is emphasized by an arched portal and accessible only to tenants.
